TEA Volume 14 was released to radio, print, film and internet media contacts on Thursday January 14, 2010. How can you  help spread the awareness?

1)  Spread the word about TEA V 14 to any media contacts you may know from past successes or networking. If they are interested in copies of TEA V 14 when completed, please let us know and we will send them a copy.

2)  Post info on your website regarding TEA V 14. A small pic of the comp with a link can help bring more awareness. You can always add TEA V 14 to your discography as well to keep people informed of all your releases.

3)  Please link to our website if at all possible. It is always a good idea to link up with community, contacts and connections.

4)  Add yourself to the TEA myspace, TEAwitter and TEAbook social networking websites if you haven't done so already.

5)  Use the power of your social networking sites to spread awareness of this release.

VERSUS THE NOTHING SONG FEATURED ON OFFICIAL VIDEO GAME OF THE OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES SOUNDTRACK

VANCOUVER, Tuesday, January 12, 2010 – Vancouver’s hard rock quintet VERSUS THE NOTHING’s single “Let It All Come Down” is featured on SEGA® Europe Ltd. ‘ soundtrack for Vancouver 2010™ - the Official Video Game of the Olympic Winter Games. "We are all big video game fanatics so when we found out that our song had been chosen, we were all crazily excited" explains Ande Otte, guitarist.

The soundtrack features a mix of well-known and unsigned bands who have been chosen to reflect the adrenaline and fast-paced nature of the events featured in the game. Out of the 21 artists featured on this soundtrack, VERSUS THE NOTHING are one of 16 Canadian bands chosen along with Gob, Mother Mother, TV Heart Attack and Sum 41.

Appearing on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, the PlayStation®3 and PC, Vancouver 2010™ delivers a host of adrenaline-fuelled events. The first person mode puts players as close to experiencing the thrill and excitement of the Olympic Winter Games as possible.

Vancouver 2010™ will be released on January 12th in North America and January 15th, 2010 across Europe for the Xbox 360, PlayStation®3 and PC.

We are thrilled to inform everyone about the second radio broadcast of the TEA Summer Showcase  Radio Show at SRN Mediaworks/148.ca. TEA Volume 14 artist Matthew Breakey (aka elevator boy) has been an avid artist who draws and paints how he experiences the world around him. Whether its creating works that express his darkest feelings, or showcasing his sometimes out of touch, extravagant sense of humor.

Matthew has attended OCAD for 2 years, and his most intimate, expressive works, have been when he's been free from school establishments and given time to come up with his "own" way to make his mark on any given material. Matthews works go from using unconventional materials to his first love of pen on paper.

SRN Mediaworks have been working very hard to complete the TEA Summer Showcase Video Interviews that were recorded on Saturday July 18, 2009 at the TEA Summer Showcase. SRN Mediaworks have created a dedicated website to feature the TEA Summer Showcase 2009 and all performers. SRN and TEA South have now completed artist interviews, recording live audio, video and photography. SRN  will be airing the showcase to radio in the months to come. A big thank you goes out to Phillip Hong and his staff for all of their hard work in creating this website, and preparations to feature the Showcase and all performers. You can now view posted  pics of the TEA Summer Showcase 2009 at the TEA Gallery where we archive all TEA showcases.

The latest update and progress for the dedicated TEA Showcase website at SRN has already come in from Phillip Hong and we look forward to seeing and hearing the completed media project in the near future...

1. Editing the video interviews so all six performers interviewed will have a chance to publicize what they have done over this past weekend. All video interviews have now been completed at SRN Television.
2. Update the website to reflect post-concert mood and design a template so photos and video can be easily assessed from there. Web pages now completed.
3. Update auxiliary web pages that relate to the concert (SRN Television for example). Completed.
4. I will confirm with Mike (Broadcasting) about an air date and time for the Showcase.  Date confirmed for Saturday October 31, 2009 at 12pm. Christmas dates will be posted soon.

We are thrilled to announce that this years 2009 TEA Summer Showcase will be held on Saturday July 18, 2009 at the well known Rivoli on Queen Street in the heart of Toronto. Our Media partner SRN Mediaworks will be hosting the showcase along with TEA South staff members. This years Showcase will be filmed, photographed, recorded live, with artist interviews throughout the evening. SRN Mediaworks have now set up a dedicated TEA Summer Showcase website which will feature audio, pictures and video of the event. The Rivoli is the perfect venue and location for the TEA Summer Showcase. You can listen to cutting edge TEA artist music, dine on eclectic global comfort food, enjoy some people watching on the Queen Street patio, or play some pool. Whatever you do, make sure you make it out to the next TEA Summer Showcase on Saturday July 18, 2009 with doors opening at 8pm.
